2ND BEST FRIENDS DAY IN WESTPORT - The City of Westport has proclaimed itself as the Dog Friendliest Beach in the State! To commemorate this we have scheduled an annual event... "Best Friends Day" to celebrate the special bond between dogs and their families. This fun gathering will be held on the first Saturday of June each year from 11:00 to 4:00 at the Westport Maritime Museum.

CRANBERRY HARVEST FESTIVAL COOK-OFF - Cranberry Harvest Festival Cook-Off entries needed Organizers of Grayland’s Annual Cranberry Harvest Festival are looking for folks to enter their best cranberry dishes in the Cook-Off Competition.
Judging will be at 9:00 pm Oct. 7th. There are two Catagories: Professional and Novice. Ribbons will be awarded to the top finishers in several categories. Bring your dish to the Grayland Community Hall from Noon-9:00 pm on Friday Oct. 7th. No entries will be accepted on Saturday.

SANTA BY THE SEA - SANTA BY THE SEA - Join the South Beach Buccaneers as they welcome Santa to the South Beach. Santa arrives at the Westport Marina at 10:30 a.m. and is escorted to the Lens Building at the Maritime Museum by enthusiastic children and the Westport Fire Department. Visit Santa, have your photo taken and play with the pirates in the Lecture Hall.
