This year the festival also includes a French style marketplace called Art In The Vines hosted by the Westport Art Festival featuring as an exciting precursor to the annual Westport Art Festival in August. The Roberts family has selected the 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam to benefit from a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Fleur de Lis Pinot Gris. Representatives from the theater will be at this event offering details about their exciting plans for this historic structure. As part of the French market experience, the cheese makers from Golden Glen Creamery in Bow, Washington, will offer samples and sell their wonderful products. This farm is known for its responsible agricultural practices using milk that is non-homogenized and slow-batch pasteurized for better health and flavor. Throughout the weekend guests are invited to play the French version of bocce ball on the winery's petanque court. Chef Erin Worth will offer Fleur de Lis French Onion Soup for those who wish to purchase food while listening to music and tasting wine. As always the winery will offer cheese, chocolate, and charcuterie tasting. There is no charge to attend this event. |
